Venice

Breakfast- Croissant

Lunch- Pesto, Spritz

Dinner- Pizza, Salad

For breakfast today I ate a croissant that was chocolate filled that I bought at the grocery store earlier in the week.  They came in what looked like a potato chip bag and are very good.  Gina recommended them to us!

Lunch was an adventure in Venice.  Nate, Erin and I stumbled upon a very authentic Italian place.  The menu was not in English so we just ordered and were all pleasantly surprised.  Nate got a kind of Lasagna dish.  It was great!  He really enjoyed it.  I got pesto and Erin got pasta with fresh parmesan cheese and tomato sauce.  Erin and I split ours.  I mixed them together and it was delicious.  We also all tried spritzers with our lunch what is generally what we see the Italians drinking mid day.  The spritzers had a blood orange in it and were extremely strong.  They were orange in color.

For dinner Erin and I went to a “snack” store and picked up a pizza.  This was also measured in weight.  It was cold and had fresh mozzarella on it.  It was good for a cold pizza. For desert we got a chocolate log sort of thing that Peter recommended.  It was pretty good but nothing that excited me too much.  There was nuts and white marshmallow stuff in it.   When we returned to our apartment we made fresh mozzarella and tomato salad with ingredients we had gotten from the pam.
