Today was another day in wonderful Verona. Today was a holiday! Due to this we did not have class because the school was closed. I took it easy for the most part of the day and rested and recuperated. For lunch Emma, Paul, Genna, Shawn and I tried out the Breck. I did not like this dinning experience. The Breck is a cafeteria style dinning. When we got there, it was extremely crowded. I got the first thing I could get my hands on. It was pasta with a cream sauce, canned asparagus and shrimp. This sounds very good but it wasn’t exciting. It was the first meal I had that was not fresh. I only ate a little bit of it and then threw away the rest.
Dinner was a much better experience. Marissa and I cooked together! I made pizza. I was going to make my own dough but it was too hard to find all the ingredients at the Pan in Italian so I decided to by premade dough. The dough was wonderful. I put tomato sauce, mozzarella, and fresh basil on it. I also added fresh Rosemary (that grows outside our apartment) to the dough. The dough bubbled up beautifully. Jen, Victoria, Erik, Gina, Nate, Mike and Erin all joined us for dinner. Victoria brought wine for us to share. It was very nice of her and very delicious. I also made pasta.
